All day, every day

Coming to Australia has thrown a few curve balls my way. One of them has been remembering to write the date dd/mm/yyyy, as opposed to the preferred American way: mm/dd/yyyy. I don't think it would be that big a deal except that I am so bloody employed and I have to write the date on EVERYTHING.

However, it has it's perks.

Today is 24/7.

Am I the only one who thinks that's hilarious?

I just thought you should know that I'm reading your blog!!!

And I'm excited about all of the kangaroos.

And that's crazy that you got jobs that quickly. Are you making some sweet moolah?

Did you know 'moolah' was spelled that way? Actually, 'moolah' is the variant of 'moola.' I looked it up, obviously. I thought for sure there was a 'u' in there somewhere.

Miss you! Glad you're having fun!

I wanted you to know that I was reading your blog, too.

I was laughing before you even asked if anyone else thought 24/7 was funny.

I miss you like a blind archer misses the target...

your ever lovin' mum

hey i am reading too! and it's highly entertaining... you must be having the most amazing time!

and it took me forever to stop writing the date like that after i got back from italy. i've made the switch successfully, but I prefer it dd/mm/yy.

by the way, it's stephen sondheim week in my car! just thought you should know.

no problem. I didn't think it would be obvious but I wasn't sure- it's Sarah Vaillancourt (was Jackson). And yep, we have two kids now:)
